As part of our About The Job series, we are taking a deeper dive into one of our projects. This project was completed in 2021 in the Cinco Ranch Neighborhood in Katy, TX.

About the Job

We were connected with our client directly by Haven Lighting and then worked along side him to design this Smart, Color Change lighting system. 

This is the end result of a great collaboration, an amazing lighting system complimenting the landscape, highlighting key focal areas and accentuating the beautiful stonework on the house.

Unique Lighting 

With the Haven Lighting system, clients have the power of their lights in the palm of their hands. This is not just any color change system, it is SMART! From the app our customer is able to program his lights to turn any color he wants any time he wants, not only at that moment, but he can schedule up to a year in advance. The system also has the ability to adjust its color temperature when white, as well as acting as a timer for the on/off times.

In the front there are 2 cores that we installed two color change fixture into which allowed us to illuminate the garage columns. These particular fixtures do not have a housing that can be used in concrete, however we were able to use another fixture to drop them in and then put in the concrete.

In addition to the smart color change lighting we did fence lights down the side of his house and along the back fence, which only added to the amazing look of his back yard living area.

End Result

The end result is a warm and welcoming feel, with a POP of color when wanted. Our customer is able to use his imagination and create a rainbow of color at the push of a button.
